Something about Mary
Eight years ago my family and I embarked upon a
journey; to find a special getaway to escape
the stress of work and city living. We needed a
place to relax, rejuvenate and reconnect with
family and friends.
After a few months of searching, and with
the help of our Coldwell Banker agent, we
stumbled upon charming Booth Lake in East Troy,
Wisconsin. Just 18 minutes North of Lake Geneva
and 35 minutes from Milwaukee, crystal clear
Booth Lake also met our criteria of being less
than two hours from Chicago.
A typical day begins with a cup of coffee on
the deck and perhaps a kayak trip around the
lake or a couple of casts off the dock while my
husband whips up his famous French toast. Most
of the day is spent down by the dock, swimming,
sunning, skiing, and tubing.
A sunset cocktail cruise is followed up with
brats, dogs and burgers on the grill. Evening
usually includes a family board game or a
bonfire with s’mores down at the beach.
Coming from a large family, I have never
felt closer to my parents, siblings, in-laws,
nieces and nephews and especially my own
husband and my three kids. My children have
always enjoyed inviting friends up to join us
too. We have so many stories that I know we
will laugh about for many years to come. The
bonds and memories that we have created are
absolutely priceless.
Mary’s New Niche
After selling Real Estate in the Western
Suburbs of Chicago for over 15 years I toyed
with the idea of becoming licensed in Wisconsin
to help other people live the "Wisconsin Lake
Dream" just like I am. Another one of my
dreams became reality and I affiliated
with the Lake Geneva office of coldwell Banker
Primus. Now I am helping buyers and sellers buy
and sell lake properties in Southeastern
Wisconsin
Second Home
Trends According to the National
Association of Realtors 40% of the homes
purchased in 2005 were second homes. I would
love to help you find or sell your second
home.
Warmly,
Mary
